Liaver Expanded Glass Granulate is the basic material used for the sound absorber Reapor. During a thermal process it is grouted to panels. The sniter necks that result from this process provide for the stability and the excellent mechanical properties of the Reapor Acoustic panels. The light and solid sound absorber can be easily processed, is resistant to humidity, non-compustible and can be recycled.
The mineral and non-fibrous Reapor has an open-porous structure, that achieve extraordinary acoustic properties. Liapor developed the innovative absorbing material cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute of Building Physics (IBP).
